6th Environmental engineering conference at Valencia Polytechnic University

At its sixth edition, organised by the Permanent Training Centre of Valencia Polytechnic University, Jenny Nilsson, Technical Director of LITOCLEAN, spoke about risk analyses and their importance for decision making in the management of soil and groundwater contamination events.

The report included, among other topics, a historical review of the origin and causes of soil contamination, the evolution of the legislative framework in this matter and the function of risk analyses in the management of soil quality recovery. Practical cases corrective measures adoption were also presented, which were of great interest to the over 50 plus participants at this conference.
