Environmental Debates
Organised by Foment del Treball Nacional, Litoclean participated on 18th June at the conference “Challenges for Industry. Industry and contaminated soil”
The legal framework applicable for environmental companies has undergone amendments in recent years that have caused higher levels of demand and directly influenced industry costs.
In order to support and advise companies in the sector so they can deal with these new challenges, Foment del Treball coordinated a series of environmental debates to discuss the specific areas that are considered newer and which they have a significant economic and/or legal influence for companies.
The debates began on 18th June with the conference “Challenges for Industry. Industry and contaminated soil”, in which the contaminated soil model and the obligations and responsibilities of industrialists in this field were debated.
The conference was opened with a keynote presentation on Environmental Challenges for Industry by Federico Ramos de Armas, Minister for the Environment.
During the debate session “Industry and Contaminated Soil,” Begoña Mundó, Litoclean Manager, was part of the roundtable along with Josep Antón Domènech, Head of the Departament of Management and Contaminated Soil of the Catalan Waste Agency, Emilio Orejudo, Head of the Aquifer Recovery and Improvement Unit of the Catalan Water Agency and Maribel Martínez, Head of Hazardous Waste and Soil of the Government of the Basque Country.
The event, which was well attended, mainly by representatives of the industrial sector, was highly valued by all participants
