LITOCLEAN will deliver a presentation at the International AquaConSoil Conference, the environmental biotechnology sector's most important European event, which is due to take place from 26-30 June in Lyon. LITOCLEAN’s presentation, which is scheduled for 28 June at 2 pm, is entitled “Assessment of the bioremediation potential of groundwater contaminated with chlorinated solvents and enhanced reductive dechlorination pilot test at an industrial site in Barcelona”. The team responsible for delivering it includes Natàlia Blázquez-Pallí, Marçal Bosch, Joan Varias, Mònica Rosell, Albert Soler, Teresa Vicent and Ernest Marco-Urrea.
The aim of AquaConSoil, Europe’s premier event for the management of contaminated soil, water resources and sediment, is to highlight the sector’s latest trends and technologies, introduce its main R&D players and establish bilateral contacts to promote labour relations. It is, in other words, an opportunity to build cooperative relationships with a view to developing future projects.
Over the five days the conference lasts, attendees will have the chance to attend all manner of sessions related to the clean-up of contaminated soils, as well as presentations on water management in arid and semi-arid regions, the technological use of soil as a source of geothermal energy, CO2 capture and storage and green engineering linked to urban areas.
