Litoclean is executing wastewater treatment projects by applying techniques based on tree species irrigation.

The Tajo Hydrographic Confederation approved the Green Filter Construction Project drawn up by LITOCLEAN for wastewater treatment at different industrial facilities. Wastewater treatment in these cases is based on the partial evaporation of wastewater and the capturing of the rest through plantation roots.

This treatment system enables two central objectives to be achieved: the clearance of the disposal and forest growth for potential wood exploitation.

The construction works of the treatment plants have already begun, which will comprise a plot where there will be Populus alba tree vegetation, which will be irrigated with wastewater from activities.
